Leaving the darkness of depression behind
All darkness fades no matter how dark and empty the space
And with the light comes so many small joy's
Life has so many treasures and until we suffer real pain we
can not see them or even begin to understand the smallest
of things.

From the coldness of the winters death, The icy breath
and the misty air, come the musty cold and barren smells
of the damp bush lands, the frosty ground, and the ice
covered rivers.

Ahhh to enjoy the cold of the winter morn, the coming of
the morning light, enhance the winter beauty. The softness
of the sunlight on the snow covered ground, the harsh cold
wind a welcome chill, a breath of fresh air. The darkness starts
to fade.

The thaw of spring, the new life blooms, The beautiful fragrances
that waft in the gentle breaze, the cherry blossoms floating in the wind
to settle on the ground like snow, what a beautiful sight to see.
A brighter sun shine and gentle warmth that warms the heart and mind.

And Oh the summer heat, what a glory to behold, the depth of colour
in the sky so brightly blue and calming, to the dark and threatening
thunder clouds that bring the blessed rains. And Oh the delightful smell
of the eucalypts after the summer storms, the freshness in the wind,
as it skims along the shore. Oh to feel the summer sun, on face and skin
and sand.

The wonderous colours of the fall, the leaves turn gorgeous shades of yellow
to red, the summer heat begins to fade, and gently fall the beautiful leaves
to the ground, their life is done for another year. My favorite time of the year
by far, the cooler air inspires a change, in mood and energy. the first heavy
dew, to the first ice cold frost, and we know that winter once again is near.
the light begins to fade once more, but this time not in total dispair.

The winters death brings life and hope, the wonderful warmth
of an open fire, to toast your toes at the end of the day. The pleasure
of a warming glass of wine as you watch the snow begin to fall, it won't belong until
the spring returns, and live becomes anew.
