No rest for the weary
Such restlessness tonight
How do you gentle a mind
Searching the dream fog
Elusive are the answers
To the simplest of questions...
Why?

I look at my clock
It mocks me...3am
Dreamless sleep
Not tonight it seems

The dream fog descends again
I reach for you...
Nothing but a locked door
There is no key

I look at my clock again...5am
How long was I wandering
I abandon my quest for sleep
I will hide my sorrow in the sunlight
