A Dark Poem about Domestic Violence
Blossom chuckles,
In her crib, all alone.
Looking to see,
If Mummy will come.

She won't, she can't,
Daddy won't let her.
Blossom doesn't know this,
She begins to stare,

She watches her toy,
Go round and round.
Mummy feels the knife,
She can't make a sound.

Blossom doesn't mind,
That Daddy's shadow grows.
That he'll be the only one,
She will ever know.
