Favourite restaurants/takeaways

I live in Quebec, Canada. so many of these places maybe unfamiliar to you.

1. Scores. This chain restaurant serves mainly chicken dishes and BBQ racks of Ribs.

2. Normandin. This chain restaurant serves a variety of meals.


3. St. Hubert. Serves mainly chicken

4. Pacinis. Specializes in pasta and has an open grill where you can grill your own bread covered in your favorite flavored butter. My favorite is garlic.

5. The Deli Train, a local restaurant that ha a varied menu, lots of choices. This restaurant is situated in an old railroad station. Nice setting. You can eat in restaurant or take out.

6. Tim Hortons. Chain restaurant, excellent coffee and donuts. They also serve soups, breakfast, and wraps. Eat in restaurant or take out.

7. McDonalds, of course. Famous for it's burgers. Eat in restaurant or take out.

8. Minute Lunch Cantine. Local fast food joint. Serves mainly hamburgers, french fries, poutine, etc. Eat in restaurant or take out. Also has picnic tables outside. Only open from March to October.

9. Richmond Pizza. Local. Specializes in pizza and pasta. Eat in restaurant or take out.

10. KFC . Fried chicken (In Quebec it is PFK – Poulet frit a la Kentucky)


In Quebec, no apostrophes are allowed as that is too English. So, for instance, we can't write McDonald's or Tim Horton's.
