A young life's lesson learned ....
Woke up feeling tired,
seemed another day had sprung,
and as usual, I had to run.

Coffee , cream and cinnamon,
chase the kids, feed the dogs,
the clock keeps running,
and the bus is coming.

Day after day , run, run, run.
Kids are gone, dogs are tired.
Sitting in my study room,
I drift back to English class.

Senior year received an “F”,
Mrs. “C" disliked my paper.
Due to her opinion,
she sought I’d be her minion.

Denied of my graduation,
I rode my bike to summer class.
Victoriously gained an “A”,
Collecting my Diploma.

From that point on,
A great lesson I learned.
Lest anyone close your door,
Kick it open or find another.
