A sonnet about my one true love ;)
A Valentine's Day Tragedy

My sweetheart stuns in sizes large and small
and sultry shapes that tempt me into sin.
With skin so smooth, I can't resist at all,
so soft and sweet that every bite's a win.
It's strange there's folks who cannot fathom why
a cocoa treat became my most beloved.
Its rich and creamy taste ensures I fly
so high I reach those pearly gates above.
But on the ghastly day I dread the most
(although the shop displays are always great)
the social pressure builds from coast to coast
to take a step I hate to contemplate.
Oh, Valentine's is such a tragic day;
that's when I'm forced to give my love away. *Sob*
