When love is found and treasured - a love poem.
Love fervently deposits
Each lethal drip of sand
So falling very quickly
The truth is somehow scanned.

Convinced of life's foreboding
We brace ourselves for lies
The hope so strong we're clinging to
The gift of pure surprise.

But 'way from towering castles
And the woods so dark and low
Lies strength in gaping numbers
And the queens' dark mirrored woes.

But desperate from that journey
And so truly marred we're cast -
Most certain that our just rewards
Are bound to come at last.
