Collecting the themes that stand out and trying to connect them NON Nov. 2016
Okay, of the ideas I've already written on or encountered multiple times, these are the standouts.

Since there's a good possibility that this project may grow out of my more personal lessons, I need to examine the things I hear repeatedly. Recurring themes from my times with Jesus are:

"I love you. My banner over you is love. I love you with an everlasting love.I have known you and loved you from the beginning."

This is a foundation idea, as far as I can tell. The knowledge that God/Jesus is always there is fundamental to where I think this going. Currently, this seems to start with love. God loves us. Therefore, He is with us always.

" I will be with you always." Matthew 28:20

"Do not fear. Fear is your enemy. Love trumps fear. Do not be afraid, but know I love you."

This is two separate entries combined. As a find connecting ideas, I'll place them together, and hope this allows me to draw connections.

"You are the apple of my eye.You are a precious gem, a gift I gave myself, and I cherish you."

"I am the giver of all good gifts. I daily load you with benefits.I want to give you the desires of My heart, which are so much better than your own desires."

"Trust in me. I hold you, cradle you, in the palm of my hand.

"Be still. Cast your cares on me. I will give you rest."

"Don't quit. Nothing is impossible for me. Ask and it will be given to you."

"You are who I made you to be. You are a new creation."

And finally:

"I am real. I sweated and drank and shit and got dirty. I vomited and stank at the end of the day. I had bad breath. Don't glamorize my life. I bled and cried and died, and there's no glamour there."

" But there is love there."

So far, there is a lot of material from Jesus' perspective. He loves us, encourages us, and wants to provide for us. I think I need to look at what we need next. Some of the ideas I have are:

Security. We need to have something to cling to. We need an anchor to keep us from drifting away, a solid rock to stand on, a hand to grasp that keeps us from falling. We need something, or someone who is always there, always reliable, and always ready to keep us secure.

We need release from unreasonable expectations. We aren't perfect and never will be. We need to give up our drive for perfection and let ourselves be remade by God.

We need to know we matter. God made us to be the people we are. God knows who we are inside. We are too fixed on the idea of exterior betterment while neglecting internal improvement. God looks at us from the inside out. Too often we see ourselves from the outside in.

We need to realize that we have limits. We cannot do everything and we cannot expect others to operate beyond a safe limit. We need to recognize that only God is unlimited. We must be realistic about our ability to manage alone, and recognize that attempting that hurts us.

No matter how imperfect we are, we each have a purpose God created us for. We need to realize that we are here for a reason, and we're not just occupying space. Looking to Him will give you your purpose and help you to like yourself more.

We need to know He is real and we are loved with a limitless, unrestrained, boundless love that never possessed boundaries and never will! We need this now!!
