Rain is not only H2O, you know?
We won't get fooled again,
Lessons learned.
Acknowledge thinking accomplishments,
Real life school,
Like this here fool,
And the tale to be told
Like some ballad of old.

Meet the new boss.
Same as the old boss.
Only the faces change
To protect the innocent.
Next lesson.

See me, feel me, touch me -- if you dare.

{Scene: by Las Vegas Casino Rersort Pool}

"See me invisible there, in that nowhere chair."

Is anyone there, or is it just a cellular stare?
It's so bright, looking into the desert sun
in the afternoon,
soaking up life through light.

"It feels GOOD!"{like Barishnikov said it in
{i}White Nights{/i}.

Mirrored backgrounds,
All sorts of magic
In the Sin City scene,
But mostly unseen.

Even those who think they focus,
Somewhere, man.
Are nowhere man.

. . . now here . . .

"Feel my fears up through my years."

Yea, I hear the jeers
From those otherwise engaged
In all sorts of rage.

I'll just steer clear.

. . . (And the Who plays at the poolside, audible)

"Listening to you,
I feel the heat,
I'll climb the mountain.
I get excitement at your feet."

Heat at the feet
In the desert heat
Amongst the mountains.
Feel the beat . . . .

I'm FREE,
But not as in having no worth.
