Joshua 23:8

For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide; He shall set me up upon a rock.

In our most trying times God is there. He is there through the storms of our lives. God is always true, no matter what goes on in our lives. God will always be there for me and you, regardless of what is happening in our lives. God is always true and will carry us through, when our load gets to heavy to bear.

God is True

God is true, He is always there
No matter what happens, He cares

Cleave unto God, when times in your life get rough
His love will surround you, when the going gets tough

God is true, in good times and bad
He will give you comfort, when you are sad

God is true no matter what your situtation
Even if you are facing Satan, and his temptations

God is true all the time
So upon on you, Let His light shine


 

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from Him cometh my salvation.
Psalm 62:1
I love this verse, because many times we get so impatient, waiting on God to answer our prayers. We think because we need something, that we must have it right away. Many times God has many blessings in store for us, but will deliver them in His time. Many times we invent a way to try and help out our situation, thinking that is how God wants us to do. Things end up going so wrong, we end up in worse shape than we were before. If we would have just waited on God, everything would have been fine. If you are in a bind, remember God is always on time. No matter what your trials and troubles, God will provide for that bill that is stressing you out. He will provide a way for you to get to work. He will provide food on the table. Just wait on Him, you will be truly blessed by just be patient. Just remember, God is the ONE who sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. His love and mercy is the reason we can receive salvation. Because He sent His only Son to die for all sinners. God knows our needs before we ever realize what they are. God will deliver what we need, it will just be in His time. God delivers and He is always right on time. You and I must learn to be patient, God will help us, and show us His power in the process. Let us always remember to give Him the praise and glory for every blessing we receive. To give Him thanks when we go to Him in prayer. Let us share all of our needs with God, He likes to hear them first hand from us. Let us wait on God, no matter what we need. Let us wait on God to show us what direction our life should be going. He knows and in His time will show us.

Father, Your love to me is such and inspiration
Your love gives me complete confirmation

That You will take care of any complication
There is nothing You can't do, this is my realization

Father, You have absolutely no limitations
All I have to do is provide You with the information

To rest in prayer, and wait upon Your verification
To express my needs through prayer and communication

You have provided our very salvation
Your Son is it's very foundation

Father, Thank You, for Your love and protection
That in You Father, through Jesus we see perfection

We see how amazing You truly are ONE of a kind
Your love and mercy could never ever be defined

 

Galatians 5:26
Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Greed, jealousy, resentment, and envy all have different meanings, but very similar. Envy is sometimes translated as jealousy. Have you ever found yourself envying a friends good fortune? Instead of being happy for them you are wishing you had something they did. Let us put aside the envy and rejoice with our neighbors and their great blessings. Envy as well as any sin of the body or spirit can separate us from God. Pray for God's redemption in your heart, and the fruit of the Holy Spirit in your life. Let us be happy for our friends and neighbors when something great happens to them. Maybe they will share in all of our many blessings that God bestows upon us.

Share In One Another's Blessings

Greed is a powerful tool
And of us it can make a fool

Jealousy can bring out the worst in us all
Its destruction can sure make us fall

Resentment sometimes makes us say bad things
Unto our friends and neighbors heartache it can bring

Envy is a monster that stands all by it's self
It can make us to where we have no dignity left

Let us not envy others, let us be happy for their blessings
By greed and jealousy don't get taught a horrible lesson

 

Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor
angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present,
nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other
creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

This passage is so reassuring, that once we accept Jesus there is nothing that can separate us from Him. That God loves us no matter what we have done wrong. He loved us even before we were born. He loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins. God sacrificed His only Son Jesus Christ, so that you and I could have eternal life. If we will only accept and believe in Jesus Christ, and confess our sins. We can live with Jesus forever. God sacrificed His only Son because He loved us so much. Now that is amazing true love. Jesus gave His life willingly to pay the price for our sins. Now that is true love, and true sacrifice. Let us show the love of God to others, by living a life that would be pleasing to God. Let us reach out to others that are hurting, and let us try and make a difference. Let us tell the lost about Jesus Christ, about the sacrifice that He made for all sinners. Let us lend an ear to those who may need someone to listen to them. Let us help our neighbors in need. Let us follow the direction in which God may lead. Let us be willing to go the extra mile, for our Father in heaven. Let us open our heart and ears, to listen to what God needs us to do.

Father, let us sacrifice time to do Your will
Let us not make excuses or try to cut a deal

Let us do the work that God would require
To tell others of His love, let us have the desire

Father, for all sinners You made the ultimate sacrifice
On this decision not once did You have to think twice

Father, Thank You, for sending Jesus to die for our sins
With Your amazing love and sacrifice, all believers win

Father, we praise You for the love that You have given us
In You Father, we will always place our total and complete trust

Father, lead us to where we need to go
Let us tell others of Jesus so they will know

To Your work let us always commit
To Your plan for us let us submit

 

Psalm 73:24
Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Sometimes life is like a roller coaster, there are so many twists and turns. Problems in life have their ups and downs, then we are thrown a curve. We feel like we are standing in mid air, and have no control over our situation in our life. Thank God, for He is our Guide, showing us which direction to take. God guides us through every mile that we travel, and helps comfort us when we hit a bump in the road. God minister's to us, and will let us know what we need to do. God is our Guide and He can put the breaks on, and stop all the chaos when life takes us on a wild ride. God can calm storm that rages out of control, He will guide our path, and see us safely through all of life's problems. Even in death, He will lead us home.

Father, Guide Our Path

Dear Father, guide our every path
Protect us from Satan and his wrath

Lord, by our side always remain
Your love and guidance is our gain

Lord, when our life feels so empty and incomplete
We need Your guidance, when Satan has us on the hot seat

We need Your guidance to make us strong
To show us the path, on which we belong

We need Your guidance and love, so that we can spiritually bloom
So that Satan can't drag us down, with his doom and gloom

 

21And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?

22For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.

23If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

24And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

25For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.

26And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

27And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.


Let us not hide our light, that should shine bright for Jesus. Let your light shine so bright. If God has given us a talent to use to glorify His name, let us try our best to use it. To try and draw others to God. Let us try to show the love of Jesus to all, and pray that the lost will see what God has done for us, and that they will want to draw closer to Him. That the lost will accept Jesus before it is to late.


The Hour Has Come

The hour has come
Dear Lord let Thy will be done

The hour has come, for us to do Thy will
I'll do what you need, Jesus because you paid my bill

The hour has come, to tell others about Jesus in who we trust
To spread the story of how much He loves us

The hour has come, to tell the lost how they can be saved
That Jesus made it possibe, when He arose from the grave

The hour has come to spread the news of Jesus on the cross
That He died on Calvary, to save the loss

The hour has come, to tell our friends and neighbors to rejoice
If they have made Jesus their choice

The choice has come to get down on our knees and pray
Until some lost soul is saved, on our knees we need to stay

The hour has come, we need to call on God more than ever before
To pray He will knock on some lost soul's door

The hour has come, to sing God's praise
And pray that many will be saved



 

Matthew 22:37-39b

JESUS SAID UNTO HIM, THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THY MIND. THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF.

Jesus told us that this was the greatest commandments. To love God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our minds. If we follow this commandment and put God first in our life, then the love that God gives will shower down on us, and we will love our neighbors as God loves us. If we love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and with all our strength, the rest of His commandments will be easier to follow and keep. If we learn to show compassion, and to give love unconditionally to others, we can follow God's example of love. God showed His love and mercy for us sinners, by sending His only Son to die for all sinners. God's love was truly shown, by Jesus dying on the cross. So that we could be saved from hell.

Loving God Unconditionally

Love God with all your heart
From Him let us never depart

Love God with all our soul
Putting Him first should be our goal

Love God with all your mind
To others always be so kind

Love our Lord with all our strength
To love others then will be a cinch

Love God and place Him first
Even when worst comes to worst

God in heaven is truly love
This great gift we received from above

Let us show love in all that we do
The kind that God gives to me and you
