I think I am suffering from depression. I am losing confidence in myself and frequently get the feeling that I am stupid and that nobody likes me. Many times, I stay awake at night and can't close my eyes for a bit. A strange loneliness creeps inside and fills my heart. Many times my tears wet my pillow. No one can understand it. Not even my husband. I have tried to tell him a couple of times what I am going through, but he doesn't take it seriously.
I guess I have to do something about it. I try to be happy about small things to avoid feeling depressed but it lasts only for a short while. Some time back, I had written a poem about something similar. That poem hasn't got very good ratings but is still the closest to my heart. Here is a link in case anyone reading this entry wants to read the poem:
One thing that I would like to tell all good people:
Never break the trust of someone close because, you never know, maybe that is the only thing that makes the person feel worthwhile.

Charming day today!
No new tussles and the old tussle with dear father-in-law forgotten by both me and F.I.L (father-in-law).
All four of us (Me, Namit, Mom-in-law, F.I.L) were up at 8:00 AM and offered sunday morning prayers together. Then had breakfast and cleaned the house. My sister, her husband, her F.I.L, and M.I.L arrived at 1:00 PM. I played with Nishu but he finds eating his hand more interesting than playing with me.
He is a quiet but cheerful child (touchwood!). Now that he has learnt the art of rolling over to his stomach. He doesn't lie down on his back at all. He is also able to inch forward and demonstrated the skill quite proudly. Another adorable thing that he does is that when, though very rarely, he is lying on his back and you hold both his hands, he pulls himself up to the sitting position and then stands. After that he wobbles quite a bit
He liked the toy that I got him. It was a non-toxic one so we were not worried when he tries to eat it. It is almost as big as his entire face and has no appendages sticking out so no risk of any piece breaking while he is trying to stuff it into his little mouth. Actually it is a big red apple.
I was heartbroken when my sister (actually Nishu) left. I almost cried.
Anyways, he had to go. He is still too young to stay with me and my sis can't stay over as she has her MD exams very soon and needs to study hard.
After than all four of us went for a Hindi movie (Ta Ra Rum Pum). To watch a promo click: http://motionflicks.com/desi/view_video.php?viewkey=1ae7bf4ec4bd78275bb9
The movie is about a reckless car-racer who falls in love with a girl and marries her. He does not plan ahead, takes lots of loans and has a risky profession. What a deadly combination! So while racing, a rival deliberately pushes his car against the boundary wall and the car overturns several times. The reckless racer is hurt very badly. He recovers in one year but cannot race as he is scared. They loose their house, their car, and by this time, they have two school-going kids. The entire family stays together during the time of crisis and overcomes it together. In the race that gives the reckless racer his confidence back, he causes the same kind of accident to the rival racer who had caused the accident to his car. In fact even worse. I don't think anyone could have survived the accident. The movie was good but I did not like the accident at the end. Not that I am miss goody-two-shoes, but because it just spoilt the fabulous ending and I don't agree to violence in any form. Even if it is a revenge.
Anyways, a nice watch and we returned home cheerful. It is 11:45 PM here now and I am not a bit sleepy...

A sleepy saturday again...
Woke up at 8:30 AM, had breakfast, did some chores, had lunch, slept again at 4:00 PM and woke up at 5:30 PM then went to the mall to prepare for Nishu's visit tomorrow. I was just filling up my shopping cart when my hubby surprized me by meeting me there. I had talked to him on phone just five minutes back and he told me that he will be late today. Then five minutes later I found him filling my shopping cart .
I got a toy for Nishu (My Nephew). Will get a chocolate tomorrow. Though he doesn't eat chocolate right now, I give him one anyway everytime I meet him. My sister eats it.
Had a slight tussle with my Father-in-law today and feel pretty bad about it. Not guilty but bad. Anyways, I know it will be fine.

Nishu (my 4.5 yrs old nephew) has made some more progress. He could already roll over while lying down on his back. Now he has taken a step forward. He can inch ahead like a caterpillar after he has rolled over and is lying on his stomach!. He just lifts his bum up and and moves his upper body ahead. His yellow giraffe placed at some distance in front of him provides enough motivation. I have not seen him do this yet but my sister will be visiting me on Sunday. I am sure he will show-off his achievement to me...Am soooooo looking forward.
In the meanwhile, here are a couple of his pictures for people to admire!

Made my third trip to Jaipur. This time, for a friend's wedding. We reached Jaipur at 8 PM yesterday and have just returned.
Somehow, apart from Delhi, I feel at home only at Jaipur. The city appeals to me for unfathomable reasons.
The wedding was adventurous. We stayed there only for half an hour and then had to return as my husband broke his belt and I broke my slippers. So we returned to our car with him holding his pants and me hobbling all the way.
The drive from Jaipur to Delhi is very scenic and we recorded some videos. We stayed at Jaipur Darbar in the same room where we had stayed earlier. It was as nice as it was earlier.
My friend got married yesterday night and this morning I received a call from her. I wondered if she was in her senses and asked her the same.
She will not be in office for some time now. I am gonna miss her.
There are other things to write too. But I will make it another blog entry later.
