He's getting neutered tomorrow and I'll pick him up on Saturday. He's 9 months old and currently named Narcy (but not for long.)
I got a couple toys (ones I figured I'd have fun with too , a bed, food, blah blah blah.

So, that's exciting.

Well, now I need a GOOD name for the cat. It's black and white domestic short hair cat.
I was going to name my first cat Fuiste. Maybe I will, but only if its a bouncy lil critter.
I was also thinking Tigger, but he's not Tiggery- looking.
So, help??? Prizes to any names I really like. A bigger prize if I use a name you suggest.



*sigh* but, other things are rough. Emotions are crazy. Stayed home sick from work cuz of it all. *groan*

Oh yeah -- work is going well. Usually. I'm a little nervous about doing a self-evaluation... I know there are parts that I'm not doing so hot in. *sigh* I do a self-eval and then my supervising teacher will do one on me, too.

Things can be a little rough at home some time.
-We've both been scared of losing each other.
-My head's been twisting some messages sent my way.
... but we get through it all. (And she's a great snuggle-er)

... and now... those damn strings!!!

... I did write yesterday, but on paper. I did a bit of journalling - needed to so I could sleep. Had a rough night. *sigh*

I came up with 3 for the site contest.

1. I resolve to write more often. My goal: write something (journalling included, emails not included) every other day.

2. I resolve to read at least 6 novels this year. (I have so many good books that are going unread!)

Haven't been here for 24 hours yet...

I'm in Chicago right now... with Jax. Well, she's in bed right now and I'm downstairs.
Damn, though -- I realized in the middle of the night that I wasn't sure where my plane ticket was, so I looked yesterday before work... with no luck. Kept calling Jax through the day, but nope - she couldn't find ie either. I was freaking out!
But... after more searching when I got home, I found it.
And made the flight alright... even with the last 2+ flights being cancelled!! The flight still was only booked 30-something (or 20-something) of 50.
And ...... we got to sit next to each other.

Oh, I haven't really said why I haven't been around very much. A few reasons really:
*My job. I know there's many on the site with full-time jobs that spend time on W.C, but *shrug*... still getting used to that
*The Sims. I've been spending much of my computer time playing that lately. (Boy do I suck at that game ... but at least I refuse to cheat very often LOL)
*And maybe a bit that we're sharing a computer.

So... well, Merry Christmas, Happy Easter, and all that good stuff!

Things have been mostly well here.
I'm loving my job (usually, most parts ).
I'm getting a car (buying one of my parents' cars from them.)

Have any of you ever went searching for a big empty box? Well, they're not so easy to acquire.
One of the therapists at school has been trying to get me a box, but keeps getting turned down ("we crush our boxes as soon as we get them." "we might be able to save one, but I'll have to check on that." "we have a few, but they were left out in the rain.")
Well, I got a box today! From WalMart. It's not a very BIG one, but it's big enough for one of the little kiddos to get in and hide (I think.)
It took about well, I don't know... it took what seemed like a long-ish time for the associate to find one though. LOL
And, it wasn't quite what I had in mind, but after she went through all that trouble, I had to take it... and it would work okay, right?
So, I lugged it through the store and to the car.
... where I found out that big boxes don't fit so well into little cars.
*shrug*
After tearing it apart at the seams, I scrunched it into the car (with Jaxxy help) and then hid behind it. (Arrived home with leg cramps )

Anyway, sorry I just realized how annoying/boring that was.

What else was I going to say? Oh yeah... Jax is gonna meet my family... oooohh! (scary, though!!) ... not just my parents either -- EVERYONE!

I am signed up for FreeCycle. (http://www.freecycle.org ) Anyway, its a web of local Yahoo groups. If you have something you don't want/need anymore, you let people know... and if someone else has something they need they make a note of that. The purpose of the site is basically to keep good items out of dumpsters.
So, anyway, someone posted today seeking a chainsaw and a goat. (a goat?!) .... well... this IS Arkansas..............

For the last half hour or so, I've been talking like a pre-pubescent boy!! Squeeky voice, etc etc...
I swear Jax is putting horomones in my dinner. LOL

Oh, for all of you who haven't heard: I got a job. Special needs preschool teacher. This was the first day of my second week. I'm enjoying it.

Now, you guys... if you saw part of a sign and it said "HORSE" what would you think the rest of it would be. Chime in all. (thanks )

I was asked a few questions (well, quite a few of them...) and then asked in for an interview with the preschool director. So, interview is tomorrow morning! Looks REALLY good. They want me in the classroom (I turned in the app for just a secretary position !)

Although a nice soft Puffs would be nice now, my chin is greatly appreciating not having runny-nose-snot all over it!
