Genna, my li’le charming pal,
Endearing yourself to all,
Not given to pick a fight;
No, you never lick or bite.

Although you are full of fun,
Mummy ever does you shun.
You have gentle habits such,
Papa always loves you much.

Enterprising Genna, you
Trouble me sometimes, you do.
During night when I’m asleep
On my bed you’re prone to leap.

Genna, I’m glad you are mine!
