Low raters...Entry #542636

I don't get it. What's with these low rating people? I just found out that three of my items got very low rates. And they so do not deserve them. On top of it, whoever decided to play this little prank on me didn't even bother to back up the rate with a review. If whoever did this really thinks that my items deserved the extremely low rates then they should have backed them up with reviews. Of course that didn't happen. How rude is that? Did the person chicken out or something? Or did he/she have nothing to say? I would really love to know the reason why these low rates were given. If perhaps there is something wrong with my items that might need to be corrected, then it would be to my benefit to know about it. But that's the way it always seems to go. Whoever decides to give a very low rate never bothers to review, probably to protect his/her anonymity. Well, if the person just rates my work first and then sends me an e-mail with a review, I will never know what rate he/she gave me. But, I'd probably put two and two together and figure out who it is anyway. Whatever. All I can say is that I want this to stop. Besides the fact that those extremely low rates can ruin my overall item rating, they also really upset me and make my mood go downhill because I know that my items don't deserve those kinds of rates. Unfortunately it's not the first time that this happened. One time I even ended up deleting an item and re-creating it because I just couldn't stand the fact that some bozo thought it deserved a 1 star making my overall rate for this amazing heartfelt beatiful poem go from a five to a three. I was just downright devastated, and every time that I looked at that item I just wanted to burst into tears. I felt that much better when I created it from scratch, and started over with no ratings. I can't do that for every item though. That would be going way overboard especially if the item has lots of rates and just one of them happens to be very low. In my opinion though if people read an item whose topic they happen to hate then they shouldn't bother to rate at all, or if they do, they should rate it based on the quality and the technical stuff, and not on topic.
