Prince lays on the desk
looks down on us all day long
jumps down for supper.

It's Thankful Thursday again. This week I completed the entire entry in my Gratitude Journal today. The past couple of weeks I've had difficulty list ten items Thankful items in a single day. I don't know what the problem was, I just couldn't seem to find ten things I was grateful for in one day.

Spot jumps on my bed
then walks to my chest lays down
won't let me get up.

One of the things I'm grateful for today, is seeing all four of my remaining cats jump up on a piece of furniture. I know that sounds odd, but we've lost four cats since December of 2008. One of the symptoms I noticed with the last two was that they didn't jump up on furniture.

Midnight on the couch
waits for me to walk past him
bats me with his paw.

Another thing I'm thankful for is coffee. Of course, I'm always thankful for coffee. Every Thankful Thursday entry for the past year contains a thank you for coffee.

Beauty on the chair
waits for me to call her name
find her feeding bowl.
