Premium members and above may upload DOC and PDF files directly into their portfolio, Both of these file types provide writers with the most flexibility available in formatting their writing. PDFs and DOCs are also the best files for printing work and the formats with which most agents and publishers prefer to work.
You can find Documents to read, rate and review by clicking on
Browse by Type in the main navigation menu on the left side of the Writing.Com screen.
Document Items are created just like any other item type on Writing.Com. There are two methods for creating and saving them. You can select the
Writing link in the navigation under the Writing.Com logo, then scroll down and click on
Document. Or, you can go to your Portfolio and select
Create Item just below your Portfolio tab. Select
Document from the links that drop down. In either case, follow the instructions in the
Create a Document Item window.
