Writing.Com offers a plethora of things to do and gives you some of the most innovative items to create. We offer our members many useful writing tools and continuously create new features. When combined with your creativity and ideas, the possibilities are endless!

Start Writing!
Every Writing.Com member has a portfolio in which his or her "Items" are stored. To create an item on Writing.Com, you have two easy options:

Through your portfolio
*Bullet* Click your "Portfolio: # Items" link in the navigation under the Writing.Com logo.
*Bullet* Then, click the Create Item link just below your "Portfolio" tab.
*Bullet* Choose the item type you wish to create and click to get started.
*Bullet* For a complete overview of each item type, please see "Items: What Are They?" .

Through the "Writing" link
*Bullet* Click the "Writing" link in the navigation under the Writing.Com logo.
*Bullet* Here you will be able to choose the item type you wish to create. There is a brief description with each item to help you choose.
