Treasured new found love
How long before it ends
I've watched you from afar
And I'd say it depends

Heart's tender feelings
Ripped and torn asunder
Trust and innocence
Shattered by your awesome thunder

Enter flattery
You hook them with that charm
Brief heated attention span
That does a lot of harm
Three Months - your shelf life
Or so I've heard it said
And whispered in your heated wake
By those you leave half dead

Add to those voices
One whose heart is true
And cared enough to give you hers
While the moment was still new

Head rules so you see
As in your quest you find
The one who sees right through the mist
And so does read your mind....
