I WISH YOU HAD BEEN MINE
I wish you had been mine, and,
Your beloved, I were;
In love valley, together,
Shyly we would whisper.
Evenings would have been fragrant,
Nights would have been so sweet;
Each gesture would have conveyed
The love message discreet.
Let’s recapture once again
Memories of days gone;
When I drank deep from your eyes
While above, the moon shone.
Maybe this moment in life
Will never come again.
Let’s dance with our arms in arms,
Let love be our refrain.

tum jo hamaare hote
aur ham tumhaare hote
mohabbat kee vaadio^ me^
kyaa hasee^ nazaare hote
bheenee bheenee saanjh hotee
meeThee meeThee raat hotee
mast kucch ishaare hote
chhipee koee baat hotee
aao ek baar phir se
chalo usee baam chale^
wo hee chaand ho suhaanaa
shokhiyo^ ke jaam Dhale^
kaun jaane aisaa lamahaa
zindagee me^ phir na aaye
jhoom le^ baaho^ me^ dono^
bhool jaaye^ gam ke saaye.
