A SOUL’S CURSE
I want, but I can’t tell you,
How I feel hurt inside.
A shame you have given me,
From which I cannot hide.
You told me that you loved me;
It’s my body you loved.
I committed a mistake;
Your motive I misjudged.
That one moment was, for you,
Just like winning a game,
You destroyed my womanhood,
And gave me lifelong blame.
You have gained my body, but,
My soul is sinless, pure.
It will curse you till your death;
Of this you may be sure.
