Title:
FORGIVE ME, DAUGHTER
|
FORGIVE ME, DAUGHTER
O my daughter, forgive me
For being your poor mother.
From now on, not me, but your
Mom will be another.
My dear child, you are my part,
Today I forsake you.
I am on the road myself.
Why should you suffer, too?
You are my own flesh and blood.
As I give you away
In adoption, my heart cries.
To God, for you, I pray.
I pray, He takes care of you,
Gives you His tender love.
I bequeath you, my dear child,
To Him, who is above.
May you never know your mom,
Who was unfortunate,
And from whom her first born was
Snatched by the cruel fate.
Go my child, may you get love
From your foster mother.
What your mom could not give, you
May get from another.
