         I have been doing some port decorating and organizing the last couple of weeks.  I am honing in on making things look more inviting.  Actually, I am trying to entice readers to come on in and explore.  Almost every item in my port has a graphic of some sort now, whether it be a photograph or a piece of clip art.

         You may be wondering why I would do such a thing and I'm not sure I can tell you why; I just wanted to do something different.  I was sort of inspired by SilverValkyre loves YOU! , who put hers together using a theme of ports of call and some of her pictures of ships and such.  I thought it was clever, so I decided to try to come up with something similar for my own portfolio.

         Since I am fascinated by time travel and the like, I decided to call my main portfolio folder "The Portal".  I used portals in my two novels as a means of traveling through time and space and thought it was an interesting way to move between the present and the past to tell the story more fully.

         Why am I telling you all this? That's simple, really.  I am soliciting people to come and look, give me their opinions, maybe throw a review out on the public review page if they have the time.  I figured since my "real" life is a mess I'd just as soon not deal with right now, I'd slink through my "Portal" into a place I am more comfortable with--my fantasies and the incredible world of writing.

         Please take a look and let me know what you think.  It doesn't have to be anything elaborate; just a few words.  I appreciate it.  You guys are so cool and sweet to me.  I love you every one!
