This world is a sorry mess
For all that I can see.
Man is out to devour man,
To kill others he’s free.

He has killed environment
And so many species.
Global warming is, due to
Pollution, on increase.

Consumerist culture is
Causing real havoc.
Due to oil, water shortage,
Man is running amoc.

Politics of oil has led
To Iraqi bombing.
Water scarcity wars are
Truly in the offing.

One thing man has never seen
Is God, if there is one.
Yet more than the name of God,
Divider there is none.

What will happen to man if
He does not mend his ways?
Even more murky will get
His suicidal forays.
