Title:
SUNRISE IN THE DESERT
SUNRISE IN THE DESERT
Rays of gold from beyond the
Horizon do assert,
Marching slowly through the vast
And undulant desert.
What was still and dark so far
Is alive once again.
Birds and beetles move across
Coarse and sandy terrain.
Caravans wind up their tents
And resume their sojourn,
Till the desert sand gets hot
And the face and feet burn.
