IN A MOMENT’S SPACE
Is not, in fact, man just a slave of time?
Upon his own birth he has no control.
He’s conceived in the space of a moment,
And in a moment he’s gone from the world.
There are many moments when life itself
Is altered in the twinkling of an eye.
Two strangers meet and exchange a mere glance,
Lifelong love gets bonded in a heartbeat.
Earth shakes and golden palaces crumble.
Sea churns and breaks the mightiest of ships.
What was lofty comes down in a moment.
Truly it has been said pride hath a fall.
The course of life is changed in a moment
A trickle can become mighty torrent.
