LOVE AND LURE



Why to be false and in love lure?
Why can’t the love always be pure?
Pure love’s faithfulness is so sure.
None would for heartbreak need a cure.


But can purity be a rule?
When in love, one has to be lured.
Love is not dictated by rules.
In love, one rules not, nor is ruled.

* Written for ‘End-Word Evolution Contest’, "End-Word Evolution Contest (CLOSED)" , where the first line had to end with a four letter word and all subsequent lines had to end with given derivations of that word.
