VENOMOUS EYES



My heart was broken painfully,
It bled but now it’s healed.
As illusion dies, I see there
So much to be revealed.

The deep eyes that attracted me
Were deeper than I thought.
But their depth was full of venom
That havoc to me brought.

It was better that we parted.
Life together was hell.
I suffered silently because
There was no one to tell.

I am now free but in my dreams
Her shadows still haunt me.
I wish I had never met her.
A scourge for me was she.
