THE UNWISE



Some laugh out loud, some smile too soft,
Some shout and some whisper.
Some are sullen, some are morose,
Some could not be crisper.


Some walk too fast, some lag behind,
Some stay glued to a spot.
Some argue loud, some think silent,
Some never have a thought.

Some live in past, some in future,
But some in the present.
Some are thankful, some are placid,
Some do always resent.

Some dream a lot, some live real,
Some have a span narrow.
They live life as though unconcerned
About the tomorrow.

Who is the wise and who unwise?
Who is simply a fool?
Why debate about it? We’re all
Pupils in the world’s school.

May the Grand Teacher, who’s beyond,
Make us this realize
That those who’re proud of their knowledge
Are often the unwise.
