THE ANNIVERSARY
I lost you young, my blooming rose,
And my life was empty,
To be lived in pure loneliness,
Till the eternity.
You were the dream, I the weaver.
But now it is shattered.
Your memories, nay, your petals
Are around me scattered.
You departed ten years ago,
When your journey did start.
On this day I remember you
With a quivering heart.
