You were my inspiration,
But that was long ago.
Now you are too much with me.
You impede my thoughts’ flow.

For my writing I need some
Thoughts, events and feelings,
That are truly different
From every day dealings.

Can something long-existing
Be forever my muse?
No. For seeking something new,
I don’t need an excuse.
