one moment of time,
one backward glance,

if I had someone,
truly loyal and kind,
that stayed even after its done,

if I could see you,
one more time,
just to be with you,

if I could feel it,
feel the mightiness,
feel it hit,

if I could believe,
one more day,

if I could trust,
one more smiling face,

if I could hold,
one more persons hand,

if I could understand,
the last thing said,

if I could afford,
another sigh,

if I could belong,
to someone,

if I could find,
an answer,

where do I go from here?
