The water washes me,
Pours upon my naked flesh,
It burns as it cools,
It is my enemy.

The sand covers me,
Descending upon a nightmare,
It courses through my veins,
My lover and my friend.

The dark comforts me,
Draining the light away,
Emptying my soul of purity,
My ultimate embrace.

The sun hinders me,
Brings me to my knees,
Burning my tender flesh,
Evil light of love destroys me.

The water washes me,
Pours upon my naked flesh,
It burns as it cools,
It is my enemy.
