My SHOE Poem 06-25-06Entry #505197
SHOES in darkness,
SHOES in light,
SHOES in every color,
SHOES that don’t fit right.
SHOES are not my favorite thing,
SHOES are just my favorite word.
SHOES I’d say all the time,
SHOES would be all you heard.
SHOES and monkey’s I dare say.
SHOES go well with just about anything,
SHOES and dreams and money and life,
SHOES just have a wonderful ring.
SHOES are all I think about,
SHOES morning, night and noon,
SHOES and monkey’s and dogs, too,
SHOES sometimes make me a loon.
SHOES will remain my favorite word,
SHOES and monkey’s are friends to me,
SHOES can go with me anywhere,
SHOES of course aren’t free.

It’s not a great poem but it works,
Because SHOES are happy, no matter what!
