The Oscar Report – Issue 3: June 7th 2007

Food bowl: empty coz I am about to have my lunch
Water bowl: yup, full, and with bits of dirt as I keep putting my paw in it while I am drinking Smile
Number of accidents: oh now, where is that list I started making… hmmm… nope, can’t find it. It is LOADS anyway!
Number of no-no’s: 1 (chewed baby Sophie’s soother, good job Annie had an extra one for such emergencies!)
Latest discovery: baby soothers (see above!)

What fun I have been having, digging in the back garden! There is a huge pile of freshly turned soil that is just like … woof! Begging to be re-dug and turned by me. It is also great fun watching my paw prints all over the living room carpet when I go back inside Smile Unfortunately, Annie soon realised what was happening and now has a towel by the patio door to wipe my paws before I am allowed to go back inside. Oh fiddlesticks!

I have been to puppy school – yeh! This is just the most fun ever! All the other pups are bigger than me though, so I am going to have to stand my ground. Annie tells me I am doing brilliantly but hey, does she realise what it’s like to have 5 other pups bounce around on you for the fun of it? It’s like, wow, really hard work! We did a little bit of agilitiy training – I had to run over some rubber tyres and into a ball pit, then across a wobbly bridge and lastly through a little tunnel. Well, Tatum, I am sure you can guess I’d do just about anything for a piece of sausage!

Nathalie has started giving me the insides of the toilet rolls and kitchen towels, you know the cardboard rolls inside. They are brilliant fun to play with and tear up. I guess they are giving me these tubes to stop me from chewing shoes, but hey, the shoes smell so loooovely Smile Once I even finished a roll of toilet paper for them coz there was still some paper left. I tore it all up and there were bits of paper and cardboard all over the floor – it was so pretty, like confetti at a party. I have decided I love confetti and am going to think of more wonderful ways to make confetti. I wonder if baby soothers make good confetti – what do you think?

Oooh, lunch is ready so I’d better dash! More from me again soon!

Lots of woofs - Oscar xox
