Government Failure in Retirement...Medical CareEntry #535466
Government Failure in Retirement, and Medical Care

A view of the whole picture, that is it concisely. To be more specific, and reaffirm the problems concerning the entire social structure of the world, I shall try to demonstrate. People, rightfully so, are very concerned about the security of their future retirement, and medical care. At this time, there is great pressure on government to address this problem, and if they do, it shall fail. I say this because there are no ways you can take a problem, remove it from the natural order of existence, and make it work. When this approach has been historically tried, it inevitably fails. In-order to show you why this is true, I shall compare the social structure to that of an onion. If you pick up an onion, the fact it is constructed of multiple layers is not apparent until you slice through it, or peel each layer from the whole unit. These layers, when in place are a very solid and strong construction, however, when separated each layer is fragile and easily damaged. That fact represents the exact problem of addressing the layers of social construction, and their problems. When removed from the whole picture, they are fragile and easily damaged. Furthermore, when this is done the repairs made to this unit, will not take into account the whole structure. Our problem is, these repairs are focused on that layer, and fail to consider the effect of the whole unit’s interdependence, which is required for sound construction.

Think of highway crews making repairs to a road whose destination is not where we want to go. It should be becoming apparent the problems are the repairs themselves, which create the destination. Picture a car, and imagine endlessly patching the tires until they are so weak they fall off the rim, and the car is no longer viable transportation. Now imagine addressing the tire problem with steel tires, and view this vehicle been driven into areas it should not go, but can because of the steel tires. This vehicle shall also fail to be viable because those tires do not conform to the design of the whole unit. All repairs, for total longevity must consider balance of the whole unit. As the car fails, with these inconsiderate repairs, so does the onion. If the layer, whose problem is addressed, puts undue strain, on the overall structure, what happens in the years when there is inadequate, or to much rain? The validity of that layer fails because it is out of synchronization with the whole unit, and this creates decay, which poisons the entire structure. Social Security and Welfare are prime examples of this type of approach, and as such are failures.

It should now be apparent why asking government to address the problems of society… fail. In-order to appear they are efficient concerned, doing their job, they apply patches, and we in turn suffer the long-term effect. Common sense, logic, reasoning, these are the tools, and cause and effect are the considerations, which must guide our decisions, and without addressing the whole unit, this is not being done.

This is why asking them, ‘government’, to fix the problem will not work, and the harsh truth is, it is not their job…it is yours and mine. Instead of forming action committees to spur government action, stand up and be the government. “Government of the people, by the people, and for the people”, gives you that responsibility and right.

This phrase is pandemic in our society, “Something needs to be done, but I do not know what to do”. If you are ready for a shock, hear this, neither do they. Think about this, they are not, “Government”, they are people just like you. Why would you think their solution could possibly be better than yours would? “Well, I do not have a solution”…neither do they. This is very disconcerting, however, that does not mean it is not true. So I think it is fair to accept if none of you has a solution…neither do they. Makes sense doesn’t it? Oh, oh, if we accept that, we are in real trouble, I am uncomfortable thinking, “they”, cannot solve it. Throughout history, society grumbles along until light bulb moments cause great social change. The founding of America is one of those moments. The formation of a nation based on concepts, which for all humankind’s history had been against the law…became the law. I think of this event as God’s effort to supply the tools needed, for us to get it right.

If this is true, then how do we begin this process? I believe this effort to be far simpler than one would suppose, and in this work, I hope to make that clear. However, first we must face some basic reality.

Separation of Church and State, a keystone of our nation, needs to be understood for what it was meant to accomplish. The concept of separation of Church and State was for a very clear and valid purpose. It was required in-order to remove undue control of church leaders from influencing the direction of national interests. I say it was a valid purpose, because to often this influence had nothing to do with God’s business; rather it was designed to favor church business. Only God is perfect, and any church business is flawed because of the ‘man’ governing this effort. Government’s job is to run the function of the nation, and church leaders are to run the church. This is no different from the reality; no business should have undue influence in the running of a nation, which is supposed to be done for the welfare of all citizens.

Here is the most important reality I can point out. There is nothing in our Constitution, which says Government is not supposed to behave in a Godly manner. In other words the path God put forth, in his book of instructions, is valid for consideration by Government. If we claim, “One nation under God”, then the road he has shown, which leads us to becoming better human beings, must be the road we follow in all efforts. If we apply this path, with its kindness, decency, and fairness for all of God’s creatures, to the efforts of our Government, we shall begin the process of balance required for society.

The whole picture dictates if we as a society accept this path for our personal salvation, then we must understand it is impossible to walk two paths at the same time. The path of Government and the path of society must have the same purpose…the enlightenment, and elevation of all. For those of our people who choose to deny God, this should not be a problem. With a simple quote I can define why that is the case, “You do not have to acknowledge the construction company, to admit it is a very fine road”. If the road accomplishes the goal of balance, and consideration for all, is that not the best we can do as a society. Is that not what we would all like to achieve for our nation, and the world?

So how can these two different approaches (views of construction), to a single road, possibly co-exist? It is all in the instructions, “Judge not or thereby yea shall be judged”, in other words leave God’s business to God, and worry about yourself. We as a society spend far too much time pointing to the mote in others eyes, and fail to acknowledge the planks in our life. I am not promoting religion with these words; I am promoting a different path, I for one am content to leave God’s work to God. Defer all debate to the above quote concerning acknowledging the construction company…that is your business, and I do not want to argue about it.

Exactly how this relates to the original topic of this writing I can sum up in this manner. We must consider the entire goal, and in a way that is kind, decent, honorable and with the interest of all humanity, and the Earth at it’s heart. This is a lofty goal, to be sure, however, not as difficult as one would imagine. I shall not rush the answers, because I feel it is important we seek an accord. That and only that is the purpose of this work, for I have put these answers out in their pure form, and received great resistance. This made me wonder what I did wrong, and the realization hit me, first we must agree on cause, and then we can agree on the effect. If this happens, the whole problem effort, I am putting forward, can be grasped, and its long-term approach to balance will be understood…I hope.

A key realization is vital for our communication, that realization is, “We the people”, are the foundation of the structure of our nation. With that understanding, comes the responsibility for insuring our nation’s foundation is made as strong as possible for the security of the entire structure. No structure I am aware of is built from the top down, and that is the basis of my claim this too must be done from the bottom up…from the foundation, for the well-being of the foundation. I, personally, do not see where there is any room for disagreement with that statement…am I missing something. If we agree, then later when you come upon the chapter titled, “Is the Foundation True”, please think long and hard about its value.

So I am not dismissed out-of-hand, I feel compelled to insert these occasional disclaimers, because when discussing our nation, often the blinders of national fervor interferes with logic. It is like telling your friend his mother is a heroin addict, you can expect an indignant, “Don’t be talking about my momma”, even if your intent was to offer help, and aid in her rehabilitation.

It is not my goal to bring down this Nation; rather it is my goal to help her soar like an eagle, the symbol that represents her. I simply wish to see this Nation stop settling for what is, and seek all that can be. Fortunately, as Americans we can make this happen without the necessity of government intervention…it is our right, our responsibility, and should be our goal.

The words you are reading are words I have said many, many times before, and will say, many, many times more. I will say these words until the end of my finite time on earth. I have no choice in this matter, because I firmly believe them to be true. These words cannot hurt you, and perhaps they can provide the required change needed for us to address many of the concerns facing our world. If what you are doing does not work, do something else. Consider Einstein’s definition of insanity, “Endlessly repeating the same process, and hoping for different results”. Does not that definition cause a vague sense of discomfort? I believe, at a subliminal level, we all know the truth, and if that is true, this definition can only result in an understanding that our current system personifies this insanity.

If any of this created a resonance of clanging alarm bells, then hear this; there is a way, which can, and will, forever change the present, and future of all humanity.

“Well darn it, I was enjoying this book until this fool went and made a stupid statement like that”.

I can understand your thoughts, however, you are clinging to the “why” factors of the world, and granting me a “why not” just might be a good idea. A simple “why not”, mixed with a “what if”, and all baked in an oven of, “we can”, and imagine the sustenance we can prepare for our lives. Oh yes, there are recipes, and we are going to cook, so I am afraid it is not time to quit reading yet. Did I hook you? I sure hope so, but I will be darned if you are not the hardest creature to land I have ever known. Well it is important, and I have no history of quitting, so on we go.
