My Vision of the Map

I am sitting here, and I am so tired it would be a relief to lie down and quit. For sixty-three years, I have had to deal with the curse of my vision. When I say vision, I do not mean some mystic, other world vision. I am simply talking about the fact, when I look at this world, I do not see what you see. I can only try to explain this by giving an example, illustration, explanation, and that will be woefully inadequate. Not only will it be inadequate, I will not be understood, or believed. I know this, because I have spent my entire life dealing with this situation.

Let me tell you a true story: About seven years ago, I was crossing swords with the system at large, and I decided to use a mentally defective card. The system countered with a barrage of psychiatrists, and panoply of testing. The man giving these tests had an extensive background in testing these types of situations, and I admit he was very good at what he did. After many hours of this jousting the results were presented, and it was determined I was the, “sanest person”, he had ever tested (his exact words), and however, he felt it necessary to include an addendum. He flavored his determination by stating that I had a quirky viewpoint on situations. In other words, I was sane, but what I saw was different from what he saw, or believed, so I was quirky.

The above story illustrates exactly the frustration I have dealt with my entire existence. I have never had a great deal of success getting anybody to be willing to admit, or understand that what I am seeing is the truth. Briefly, that is my problem, because it is hell looking at the world, and seeing the truth. In other words when I look at a situation, I do not just see that situation, and judge it, I see every nuance, every pixel of the picture, and understand it. I know there have to be others with this problem; however, I have never met one of them. Oh, I have met people that are close. What that means is, I have met people who are capable of seeing my vision when I talk about it, yet they cannot do it with their own eyes. Subliminally they are aware of this unseen world, yet they cannot quite bring it into focus on their own.

Most of my life, I have refused to speak of this vision, because it was easier to keep these thoughts to myself rather than argue about it. It is only in the last few years that changed. The reason I have decided to speak out is the wide spread belief the world is in trouble, “To see a wrong, and do nothing is cowardice”. I was forty years old before my first child was born, and three years later, my second. I am now about to become a grandfather for the third time and this has instilled an urgent need to point out the truth. When I stated these conclusions, concerning the world, forty-five-plus years ago, I was laughed at. Not only did I see it then, I see it now, and the problem is I know many of the solutions. Social responsibility dictates I give this effort, and yes, it is motivated by my love for these offspring. While I doubt my success in this matter, for their sake I must try, maybe, just maybe the time is right, and if enough hear me, we can easily change these problems... however time is short, so arguing about it will only insure our extinction.

Now that I have shared some of me, with you, I intend to make a bold statement, which will probably make you take exception with the above decision on my sanity. In my youth, and present, I have always been asked why I would not get into step with the rest of the world. My response was, and is, “The rest of the world needs to get into step with me”. If my claim of seeing the truth is valid, then it should be apparent we should always follow the truth, and I try to do so.

I have likened the worlds approach towards the problems that exist, as a highway repair crew patching potholes, and ignoring the fact they are repairing a highway whose destination is not where we want to go. This endless effort stems from the fact everybody is so focused on the potholes, they do not see the destination. If the whole picture is not included, we will never arrive where we need to be.

What I am trying to tell you are, the problems we all point to, in our society, is the product of that society. More clearly, without changing the whole, nothing can fix the pothole. These potholes will always be patches waiting to blow up in our faces. By changing the whole, the potholes will smooth out, and repair themselves. I am not so foolish to think that new problems will not arise, however, once this effort of ‘whole’ repair is tried, we have begun the process of destination modification until we find the true path, and the road is then smooth.

Opinions are often errors in judgment based upon beliefs. Beliefs are often errors of value based upon incorrect or incomplete information. Making these claims, I must state my approach: I always try to have an opinion on everything; however, I never hold them so dear, that if faced with facts, and better information, I am unwilling to change that opinion. “It does not matter what I think, or believe, it only matters what is true”. Think of this approach in this manner, “If you enter a road, and travel long enough without exiting, you will arrive exactly where it leads”. Most of us have traveled, and at some point, we became unsure of our direction. I am also sure most of us took the time to check a map, or read the road signs, and if wrong, we modified our direction to insure our true destination was achieved. That is exactly what we must apply to our lives, a complete adjustment of direction, to insure our destination is true, and right now humankind is not applying this logic.

From the earliest moments of human existence, we have traveled our present road. This journey has been filled with an endless repetition of the same old potholes, and these are defined as follows. Hatred, war, suspicion, greed, disparity, abuse, slavery, and the worst of all, the failure to honor our Mother the Earth. Our current destination is very clear, and is just recently being pointed to by our scientific community. That destination is the demise of humankind as viable specie on Earth. In our mad dash down this road we have erased many of the lower species, (as we refer to them), without accepting the total picture. It is the whole, which must be valued, for this is the true destination, our God given stewardship, and without seeking that, we shall fail. We were handed an extremely complex gift, one that required caution, and great thought to preserve the unique balance created. This balance is the product of the whole structure, and it is this structure, we are required to consider. Just as our current problems are a product of our society, the balance of the Earth is a product of the whole creation. Humanities focus on self is the failure, and this failure has never produced the needed balance of the whole, and shall bring us to extinction. This is completely opposite of what we hope to achieve when we focus on self, and we refuse to accept this is true, yet it is clearly apparent, that this is exactly what is happening.

At this point, I wish to make a suggestion, which I hope will aid us in communication. That, and the fact it is what we should always do in our daily approach to life, if we do not, we fail to find the truth. All who read this work should take the following quote, and place it on the wall. Read it everyday until you are comfortable with its validity. It will not harm you, nor should it make you uncomfortable, it is just a guideline to successful living. “It does not matter what I think or believe it only matters what is true”. This quote defines the difference between the open, and closed mind, and it is vital at this point of existence we open our mind to all truth. Perhaps if I place here other versions of this thought it will help you to understand it value.

1. “Just because you choose not to accept, or believe, does not mean it is not true.”

2. “Have an opinion on everything, but be willing to change one or two everyday”.

3. “Be very careful of trying to project your beliefs on any situation. Because, at the bottom line, the truth is…and belief is merely that, belief, Let us take our time, and seek the truth”.

4. “It is far better to have no opinion, than a wrong opinion…be patient”. (After writing this one, I was berated, and questioned about why it was wrong to have an opinion. That is not what I am saying. However, the fact is, having a wrong opinion places you on a path, which is incorrect. Seems logical to me, and I see no way to refute this claim. Yet if you refer to the above writing, you will see my statement about having an opinion on everything…yet being willing to change that opinion. The changing of an incorrect opinion is the key; however, that is exactly the problem, for many people cling, too dearly, to those incorrect opinions. Fear of being wrong, rather than willingness to get right. What makes them think they are better than any other human on the face of the earth…everybody is wrong a great deal of the time, and that is okay if you are willing to change. It is the clinging to the wrong, which defeats your purpose, and humanities advance.)

Is there anything about these maxims, which can harm us? Would not our life’s’ and society be better served if we applied this logic? We must begin this process of truth seeking if we hope to sustain our future, and there is no better time than now. Remember these words from earlier, “Opinions are often errors in judgment based upon beliefs. Beliefs are often errors of values based upon incorrect or incomplete information”. This is the case for everyone, including me, and that is not a bad thing. It is not a bad thing, that is, if we apply the above modifiers into out lives. The search for truth must never be halted, or we fail to grow, and to become all we are meant to be. Science tells us we quit growing in our early twenties, and I see this as more information that is incorrect. My feeling in this matter is, yes, the vehicle quits growing, and begins to wear out, however, the driver must continue to improve (grow), to compensate for this fact. To do so, we must never quit growing, for if we do, we are dead. Still walking around maybe, however, we are still dead. Is this not, a much more exciting approach to life? I honestly believe this is what we are meant to do, and if we do, we shall in our lifetime, achieve our highest level.

Our highest level, maximizing our potential, accepting our responsibility, all of these represent the same effort, and express themselves only if we achieve the true path. If the product of our life does not enhance all of our society, and give just consideration for the entire planet, then we have failed. This failure can only result in rapidly shortening our time on Earth, and I hate the thought of what this failure means for our future generations. Future generations require true parenting, and part of that effort is consideration for the future. As, true parents, that thought should guide our every action, for our children. Foresight goes beyond raising our offspring to succeed economically, within the system, it is vital we hand them the tools to succeed economically, ethically, socially, and responsibly in their present and future. Consideration of the whole rather than the moment must always be our effort. Longevity of humankind is the most important factor of this effort, true parenting, is the effort of insuring the longest possible survival of your lineage. Obviously, this makes it imperative our primary goal is the longest survival of the viability of the Earth, to sustain our specie.

Cause and effect, are the driving forces behind this synchronicity…if we are causing it…quit. The mad rush for momentary gratification is defeating the prime directive of true parenting, and the only way of insuring our goal is balance. I am not writing new ideas here; I am rewording the instruction book, which we all claim with these words, “One nation under God”. “Self glorification”, is expressly forbidden, and these words express all of the above, “Do you see this little one? They who harm a hair on their head, to them the gates of heaven shall forever be denied”. You must either follow the guidelines expressed by, “One nation under God”, or deny your faith. For your immortal soul, you are far better served by adhering to the words of Christ, rather than the words of your mortal Priest, Minister, or Rabbi, all fallible humans. My thought here is that you may accept Christ as your savior, at the final moment, and be granted forgiveness for your past sins. However, you had better be concerned about your future sins, for your failures of the present, shall have long-term effects, long after you are gone.

Once again let me state; I am not promoting religion with these words, I am promoting a path. My personal belief includes a higher power; however, if yours does not, I am comfortable with that. The honoring of the construction company is not required by me, I simply wish you to see it is a very fine road.

With this said, I shall put down my visions, and you decide if the price I have paid to reach these conclusions, was time well spent. Let me begin with this vision, “Until your own house does not leak, you have no right working on another”. Read on my friends and it shall be clear.

Think about this amazing fact, when you have repaired your own house, you have repaired the world by one house. On the other hand, when you get yourself right, you have changed the world…by one. As, “the longest journey begins with the first step”, so does changing the world, begin with the first person. The method is free will, and the effort used to make a choice to do right. That is why I tell people there is an order operation to accomplishing the world we all know should exist. This order operation is personal responsibility; nobody can do it for you. Not government, church, friends, family nor anybody other than self…it is your responsibility. Until this is accepted, we shall never achieve our true place as caregivers of tomorrow, and that is what we are supposed to be.

When this is accepted you have the peace of knowing you have given your best, you are at one with your purpose, and the greater effect is, you become a mirror for right, and all others must look into that mirror, and face what they see about themselves. Do not hide your light, under a basket, radiate unto the world. This book is about personal responsibility, and a simple path, which addresses a great deal of the failures of our society. If you read this information openly, and with hope, it shall be apparent, there is a way. There are two ways of fulfilling personal responsibility; one is self-glorification, and the other provides a path for achieving personal security, and simultaneously doing so for all other members of humanity. This difference is defined throughout this work…it is up to you; nobody will do this for you…never have, and never will. I like to believe myself to be a signpost indicating the path. What do I want from this effort…nothing; it is my effort to get me right. I watch the current rhetoric about global warming, social disparity, education, etc., etc., and it makes me laugh. I laugh because all of it is stated with the hope government can fix it, again…never have, and never will. It is your job…our job, and it is time to go to work. It is not hard, and it will not harm you, it is merely applying the mindset that it is what you want to be, and it cannot be denied. You are the foundation of it all, and if you tremble so shall the structure…you rule the world. Interesting, frightening, confusing, but it is the truth…you rule the world. Just a small example: if the you of the world decide one day they are not going to work, the system stops, one day will not cause you to miss a meal, and yet the world will tremble by your act. A simple example, however, an apt one, for in your heart you know it is true. Even if you chose not to work for a week, or a month, you will not miss a meal, but the world will bow before you, and beg you to return. I am willing to bet you never thought of it in that light…as the power of collective you. Humaneomics, which is the heart of this work, shows you how being a member of the collective you, gives you the power to forever secure your future, in a way nobody else will ever offer to do for you…and remember it is your responsibility.
For those of you who ran to a dictionary to find the word, Humaneomics, you will not find it there, however you will find it in the pages of this book, and it will show you the power of you. Hatred, is a barricade, which keeps you from achieving success, and by leaving hatred behind you, the door opens to a very secure future. It is just that simple; by stopping the misery of this one foolish behavior, “you”, can begin the process of attaining the future financial security we all strive to achieve. Please, stop and ask yourself one question; would it not be a fine thing to achieve the level of financial security, and fulfill the hope of fair medical coverage we all deserve?

Have you ever heard the adage, “no man is an island”? I am sure most of us have heard these words in our lifetime, and they can be defined thusly. Within society, no human is totally free of the requirements of that society. Therefore, this indicates you are responsible for fulfilling the dictates of that society…or responsible for the whole. Regardless of how we try to defer this, by claiming we are free individuals, the fact remains if you behave in an anti-social manner you will answer for those acts. Conversely, if you fulfill society’s role, you will have a degree of harmony, however, our society is designed in a way that you are not rewarded for that effort…, and you should be. It is your right, to expect that your efforts should bring rewards. Why? If you are punished for non-conformance, then it should be apparent conformance should produce reward. In other words, if your behavior in society has two possible causes (bad and good), then there should be two effects. Personally, I do not feel the effect of good social behavior comes close to being the correct effect. If you conform in society, there must be more positive effect than just being allowed to survive, and struggle for your future well-being. Society, by its very nature should be designed for the improvement of all who exist within its structure…and ours is not. If it were, then the current fears about retirement, and medical coverage would not exist. Therefore, as you are responsible to conform to society (responsible), then let us be responsible for making it fulfill its role. HUMANEOMICS, will, in one generation, deal with this disparity, and you (self), have complete control in this matter.

“Is this man crazy? Hell the effort required, just to survive, doesn’t leave me any time for more responsibility, and I definitely do not want to hear that Government is not going to fix my future”.

I understand these thoughts completely, and I give you this promise, “Nothing I am writing about will be difficult, time consuming, or more costly than one dollar a month, and in a families lifetime the result will be financial security…with complete medical coverage, for all”.

“Sounds good, however, I just do not see how such a thing is possible without Government, yet maybe it can be done”.

If the conversation between us goes like this, we will win. I say that because the statement ending, “maybe it can be done”, is the seed I ask you to plant in your heart. That seed, the simple acceptance that it may be possible, is all that is needed to insure it is possible. Just that simple acceptance and everything becomes else becomes an automatic journey, which shall forever change your status from laborer…to owner. An owner of capital resources and owner of your future, and your family’s wellbeing.
