“The Meek Shall Inherit The Earth”
Isn’t it time to fulfill a prophecy? Don’t you think it would please God to see his creation work to such a goal? Well, this is possible, because all we had to do was sit back, and watch while they designed the game. Once this had been completed, it became simple, what we needed to do was play some of it better than they, and we would be winners. You see, because how they played the game created a situation which glorified individual excellence more than the team effort. Most of we meek, simple humans are happy with who we are, just not where we are, so if we pick our spots, and play as a team, we can fix that flaw. I hope you find this an interesting idea, because if we do not do this, nobody will do it for us.
The truly remarkable thing about this situation is, they have played right into our hands. You see, the wealthy have spent generations refining their techniques. They have trained, and worked, and applied unfair influence…whatever it took to achieve their positon of superior station, and it must be frightening for them to realize we can win at our leisure. Does it surprise you to hear they know we can beat them? It really shouldn’t, because history has demonstrated this fact countless times. However, we should take no comfort from the historical records of our victories, because at best they have been short lived…”deja vue all over again”. Let me define the historical victories, and the flaw of their execution. Violent revolutions are those victories. When the bottom segment of society reaches a point of abuse no longer tolerable, they revolt…this has been demonstrated throughout history, so it is not new information. The following information is new, and the edge we need to make our efforts viable.
Given time, violent revolution is always victorious (the have nots, outnumber the haves, nine to one), however, it always fails to accomplish the hoped for result. This is the case due to the stronghold, which is attacked. Violent revolution focuses on who is applying the abuse, rather than what is applying the abuse. More concisely said, violent revolution is applied to topple the people who are viewed as the problem, rather than the disparity, which is the problem. This is the reason violent revolution always fails to achieve the hoped for goals. It does not matter who is ruling, as long as they rule within the guidelines of the game, this disparity will continue to exist. Now this game is time tested, and has been proven to be the best plan thus far, therefore there is no need to change it. There have been efforts to change this game, ie: Communism, and Socialism, however time has shown them to be failures…socialism stagnates society, and places your wellbeing in the hands of others, Communism proved evil because human nature wants to be victorious. I believe it was Dante who defined this situation to perfection, “Absolute power corrupts, absolutely”. There are many arguements, one-way or the other, however, the proof is in the pudding, and they are not the solution.
Get in the game, that and only that will alter your condition. Decidely we are not the stars of the team, so if we wait to be chosen, when they are picking sides, we will, and do find ourselves sitting on the sidelines. The game is money, and money is a made-up medium of exchange used to represent your labor. This allows a way for the work you do, to be exchanged for the goods you need to survive. A simple concept, and one that should suffice for the smooth functioning of society.
Let me demonstrate why this is not the case. Examine the common grumblings when a big sports figure signs some astronomical contract, “Nobody is worth that much money”, is commonly heard. However, consider this; the money the player receives is chump change compared to the money controlled by the person paying this contract. Think about it, and ask is anybody worth that much money? Surprisingly, I believe people acutely feel a twinge of pity for the owners, and this is laughable. These people know exactly what they are doing, and if they had not calculated the return on their investment…they would not have made that investment. How do you think they got that money in the first place…by stupidity? So, it should be obvious it is not the laborer, but the owner who controls the advancement of the whole team. I say this because, here we have an exact reflection of our society as a whole…almost. Almost, because in truth, here we have an exact reflection of our society as it should be. Should be…why do I say that? Because in this example, (professional sports), even those who simply sit on the bench are paid a very comfortable living existence. A comfortable wage, good medical coverage, and a fair retirement. This is what is supposed to exist for all humankind, and yet it does not.
This is why I say, “as it should be”, for I am certain everything was created for the well being of all life on earth. Perhaps it is society, which creates the flaws in people, rather than people who create the flaws in society. I am sure this is an uncomfortable statement, because it is very comforting, and far easier to have somebody to blame, than to address the truth of our system. Patriotic fervor dictates we defend our nation, to the point we ignore the fact we are out of balance. This is obvious from the surge of social illnesses rampant in our system. This truth can only be addressed in one way, and that way forces us to consider the sagacity of all above writing. If you do not address the cause, you cannot cure the illness. This is true in medicine, and it is true in society. We would all agree, passing a law against cancer is a waste of time, and the same goes for laws against social illness. Once we address the cause we can begin the process of bringing social illness to it’s lowest level of existence, and that is a goal we must work towards. Here is an oft written, and favorite line of mine…balance, balance, balance. The motor in your car must operate in a sequential, and balanced manner, and so must society.
Harmonious inclusion, into the system is the answer, and humaneomics is the method. What is humaneomics, you may ask, and I tell you it is the solution available for all citizens of this nation, to be included into the system in which we live. A slight adjustment of the path we are on, designed to honor all members of society, and bring about balance, and harmony. Humaneomics, is the epitome of the American way…the foundation of our Constitution. Private ownership, free enterprise, competition, and by applying it we all are lifted to the level of recognition we deserve.
Sounds good to me, when are they going to do it…never, is the answer to that question. When you are waiting for somebody else to fix your life, you are destined to die unhappy. This is your responsibility, and it is so simple as to be invisible. Furthermore, one person cannot do it, it takes, “we the people”, forming our own team, and winning a few select games. A little team work, and even if we are bench warmers, we will have the quality of existence all humankind deserves. If we join in this effort, we no longer need to deal with inadequate Governmental response, (Hurricane Katrina), nor rely on the benevolence of underfunded company retirement accounts. For the first time in the history of civilization, “we the people”, genuinely will have taken control of our lives. The meek, gentle, kind people of the world will have made a statement, and by doing so, will have finally taken a giant step towards establishing the balance needed to claim their rightful due, and to honor all creation.
I would like to stop writing at this point, and place my phone number here, just to see if I am strumming any responsive chords…I play the guitar. However, that will not get us to where we need to go, so I will continue…and hope you do also.
