Happy AnniversaryEntry #587389
Today was my third anniversary at WDC. My, how time does fly! It's been a productive three years for my writing, though a really tough time for my world as a whole. Still, all in all, I am in a pretty fair position right now and feeling all right . . .  no hives, no painful teeth or achey shoulders, knees or hips . . .I almost feel my age, instead of twenty years older than I am.

Life goes on and it seems the trials, surprises, twists and turns do the same, along with what good we encounter. I made the mistake of commenting on a blog yesterday and then I let myself be dragged in to commenting again . . . and again. Stupid of me. I thought the people who read blogs and comment on them are the same wherever blogs are hosted, but it isn't true. Give me back my kind friends at WDC who at least have the courtesy to read all of what I say before they start forming opinions on what they THINK I am going to say and turn against me just because I don't happen to agree with them.

I finally stopped lowering myself to the abuse and asked NOT to be informed if people responded to my comments anymore. Overall, it was a depressing, demoralizing and generally sickening experience for me. The folks who read that blog are out for blood. Silly me, I innocently walked right into it with my eyes wide open and some of the blood let was mine.

Anyone who wants to check it out, can go here for my flops today:

Honestly, all I wanted to do was help and I got trounced. Going off to lick my wounds now.

Hope everyone had a great three day weekend. Thanks for helping my three years at WDC be great! On a brighter note, I did get a nice note or two, but mostly I was singled out as an enemy because I was on the "other side." Ms. Shiloh Walker was particularly kind to me . . . I think I'll go out and buy one of her books to read! *Smile*
