Chapter Twenty-Nine – The Scrolls of Tara
They stood about the scrolls of the Tara Keltoi script
The light glowed in through the crevices as if moon lit.
Around them glossy, wood walls shined
As if just polished but were as old as time.
Lilith, DragonBlue and MoonChild
Hands held tight around the altar,
Placed the vibrant shining
Talisman directly in the center.
They began a trilogy Goddess chant tone in key,
Harmonizing, all three parts echoing in the trees.
Deocile about the stone pillar
To sway in primal beat and swing.
They stopped ~ Turned left
Asking spirits of the Gaea to sing.
The wind picked up as if on cue,
The moat around them awoke anew.
The light grew deep to eagerly command
A whirlwind lifted earth of crystal sand.
The talisman grew wild with bright blue fire
Revolving ever faster within the shire.
The altar split open each section a petal,
Outward like a flower from the middle.
Nested within was a solid box of crystal glass,
Empowered to precision it was opened at last!
Like a top, in a flaming twist
The sphere released a smoky mist,
Engulfed the three with an eerie glow.
Thanking the spirits of four in tow,
They gently removed with care
Encased for many ages there,
Parchments of an ancient cast
Magick runes scribed to last.
Dragon Blue knew this routine
From her re-occurring dream
The written sacred Wyrd of old
Eased from its ancient ritual fold.
