April 15, 2006- I'm not jumping on a couch but...Entry #605318
April 15, 2006 - Saturday

I'm not jumping on a couch but...

This past week has been so amazing. Particularly the past couple of days, more than anything. I don't even know where to begin. You know how you just connect with someone on a level you haven't been to before or haven't been to for quite awhile? That's what happened. Things have been so much more relaxed and natural at home.

Because I promised her I wouldn't, I won't go into too much detail about last night. But.... it all started when she asked if I wanted to come into the bathroom while she took a bath last night. Embracing any chance we get to talk privately, I jumped at the chance. Well, we didn't just talk and it was amazing. Simply perfect. Then after the bath, we sat in the living room and talked for awhile before deciding to go to bed. But once in bed, we kissed for awhile (which I love to do because Michelle is such an amazing, amazing kisser) and then started talking again. We didn't end up going to sleep until after 3:00am and even with the kids being early risers, it was totally and completely worth it.

Michelle has made me feel so special and loved this week and it's just been so perfect. I know I"m gushing but I can't help it. She cooked for me three days in a row, left a very sweet, romantic card in my van for me to find before I went to work, and has just been attentive and wonderful. This is not to say that she's not always sweet to me and attentive but with kids and life, things fall to the wayside sometimes. It just happens. We've decided though to find a babysitter and have a date night once a week. I've always wanted to do this and think it's really important but it was Michelle who suggested it. *sigh* I know how lucky I am to have a love like this and every day proves that me all over again. Have a wonderful Easter everyone!!

Peace,
Angie

Heather

That's so sweet. It's easy to get lost in the jobs and kids and such. You brought me to tears.

Super Sly

It's moments like that that make a hard month disappear. We try to have as much private time as possible but sometimes it's just nice to have my wife wrapped up in my arms watching her fall asleep.
