Our main impetus in choosing to watch this movie was its relation to my 2008 NaNo project, News From Ludicrous. This movie is about a man (Joseph Fiennes) who is obsessed with The Darwin Awards (http://darwinawards.com/), and wants a job with an insurance company profiling the types of people who wind up as Darwin Awards. He is paired for a trial period with a seasoned claims investigator played by Winona Ryder. In my research on the Darwin Awards website for my novel, I actually came across some of the stories included in this movie. They are all handled with great humor, and feature an amazing cast of cameo roles, including the Discovery Channel's Mythbusters, Adam and Jamie.

If you come across this little gem, we would both highly recommend checking it out!
