dialogue of dream (2007)Entry #632227

"Is something wrong? Your performance today was lacking, to say the least."

"No."This guy looks like he belongs in the 80's with his short brown fro and mustache.

"You seemed to zone out for most of it. The other was giving his all and you just weren't responding."

"I dunno what went wrong."

"Have you been teaching outside of the classroom lately?"

"No." Kids on the swings and we're talking about this. We should go somewhere private since this is still a school.

"What about in your personal space? Have you been doing any of that lately?"

"No... I haven't for at least three days, I swear."

"Maybe you should go to a doctor, just to make sure nothing is wrong."

"There is nothing wrong and a doctor would ask too many questions." To be a kid again, such innocent bliss. Playing on the swings, not a care in the world.

"Well, let's stop by the lab. I'll try and show you what I'm talking about. We have to do something because this isn't working."

"Fine." I wish there were a few more attractive, younger teachers around here. Most of the others are old. It'd be nice to see some faded jeans and band t-shirts instead of tweed overcoats.

"Pay attention. The door is over here."

"Oh, sorry."

"This is what I mean, it's like you aren't even here."

"I don't know. I'm having an off couple of days is all." Maybe it is because I don't want to be here, right now, doing this.

"It will take me a few minutes to set up the camera. I'm only going to use one and will have it focused on your face."

"Where do you want me?"

"Over here. You can put your hands on this cart."

"Okay." I didn't know we had blue ones. In half an hour the school day will be over. Hopefully he will be done by then.

"This condom should work. Let's get started."
