Getting in a GrooveEntry #632231
Today was a pretty busy day. I spent the morning with Libby and then the afternoon dealing with paperwork stuff. I submitted an application for health insurance through the state now that I'm officially self-employed, dealt with some client paperwork, scheduled a doctor's appointment for Libby for her 2 year well baby visit and just generally ran around like a chicken with my head cut off most of the day. But it does feel really good to be in a groove again, finally.

Tuesday's gonna be even busier. I have therapy in the morning, then an 11 am meeting with a client followed by a 2pm with my friend Julie. We're supposed to work on making a gift for my sister for when I go visit her in April. Then after that I'm going to go to the downtown library, browse books, drink some tea and hopefully work on some writing or WDC stuff or something relaxing. I prefer the writing idea but I'm flexible. I have about a dozen ideas for poems, I just need time to be able to write them and figure out what forms to use.

Libby's father has popped back into my life. The emotions it's brought up have really surprised me. I thought I'd put it all behind me but there's a small part of me that aches because of him and wouldn't mind him and I being together. It's so wrong though because he's all wrong for me. But he's Libby's father and I love her and parts of her are him and so I can't help wanting that whole thing to be right for her.

In any case, I'm exhausted and off to bed.
