Dixieland Sushi by Cara LockwoodEntry #646281
Genre: Chic Lit

Summary: Jen Taylor hasn't been home in years. Why? Because she is ashamed of her southern roots. She may only be half-japanese, but hearing her asian family talk with a southern twang is embarassing enough. But when her cousin announces that she is marrying Jen's life-long crush, Jen MUST have the perfect date to the wedding.

Why I Picked It Up: I've always been a fan of Cara Lockwood, and my Creative Writing teacher recommended this one.

My Opinion: This book is absolutely hilarious. Yes, it is a little predictable, but what love story isn't? It was sweet and funny and my favorite of Cara's novels so far. The main characters were loveable and the story was just adorable.

My Rating: Five Stars
