Rain,
It beats down,
Upon the ground,
Upon me.
Tears,
Blending softly,
With pounding rain,
Upon my face.

Surely,
I can't save you,
I can't bring you,
To this place.
Alone,
I watch you there,
Standing alone,
You don't see me.

Maybe,
If you looked,
You could see,
We love you.
Maybe,
If you tried,
You could be,
Completely free.

Rain,
Pouring down,
Washing me,
In its flow.
Rain,
Mixing with tears,
Watching you turn,
Your back on me.
