"Do you think they suspect anything?" Mark asked as he stepped up to the glass and looked out at the community below him.

"Of course not. You know they're not smart enough." Amy didn't look out with him. After spending so many hours watching the humans live their pathetically routine lives, just glancing down into their world was enough to make her sick.

"Some of them create government conspiracies in their minds. You don't think they're smart enough to figure out that their world isn't real?" He glanced back her, disbelief in his eyes. She watched as the color of his irises went from brown to black. She hated it when they had to take the medication that changed their eyes, just so they could look like one of them.

"I don't put a lot of confidence in the intelligence of the human race, sir. They can't even make themselves stop smoking cigarettes and eating fast food, when they know it'll kill them." She shuddered at the thought. What an idiot species.

"Don't call me 'sir,' Amy. You sound like one of them. They call me that because I'm their president and they have to. I may be your boss, but I'm still your friend."

"Of course." She smiled as they walked away from the glass, back to the wall of screens. They flashed from one image to another as they scanned the globe. Amy laughed at the thought.

"What?" Mark turned to look at her.

"What do you call a snow globe without snow?"

They laughed together, until he sighed and said, "Earth."
