Ive done it again. I couldn't help myself and I know I’ll get in trouble for it. It’s their fault, leaving me at home all day, with nothing to do but wander around the house, waiting for them to return and pay some attention to me. Some days they don’t even do that.

I can hear the front door opening. Now’s my cue to run up and welcome them home, but I don’t know if I want to. They’re going to be mad at me, maybe even hit me and definitely throw me outside.

I’ve decided to lay low, and wait to see how bad the reaction is. My master’s bitch can be temperamental, and if she’s in a good mood, I might escape a smack.

“Oh Shit!. George!” She calls out my name. She’s seen what I’ve done. I don’t understand the first bit she had said but it didn’t sound good.

Oh no, She sees me.

“Get over here you mutt!” she yells at me, grabbing me by the collar and dragging me to the door. I weigh nearly as much as her but I submit. She’s my master’s bitch after all.

She drags me outside and slams the door behind me. One of my family members is home, but I’m alone again. I walk to the middle of the yard. I may be in trouble but I think it was worth it and I‘ll probably do it again. Humans eat the nicest food and that chicken had been delicious.
