Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas AdamsEntry #676626

Summary: Arthur Dent just found out that his house is being demolished...minutes before finding out that Earth is being demolished. Good thing his best friend, Ford, knows how to catch a lift. Unluckily, it's on a Vogon ship. What's a Vogon ship? Why don't you consult the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?

Why I Picked It Up: I've been meaning to read this series for years. I started the first one about three years ago and never finished it. My mom and sister are big fans.

My Opinion: It was surprisingly short, and I expected it to be like the movie, for some reason. But they really didn't have a whole lot in common. The book was way WAY better. I really enjoyed Adams' writing style. He's rather hilarious.

My Rating: Four Stars
