The rules state that: The chosen poem's poet will automatically have another of his or her poems chosen for next week's review, with what is called the "Passionate Echo" selection. This is done in an effort to discover quality poets from a wide variety of his or her work. Also, past winners will again get another chance to enter the selection pool. This is done with the realization that having a poem selected three consecutive weeks is a monumental task for any poet, however accomplished and talented. The "Fading Memory" selection can be any new poem from any past winner.
