The poisoning wasn't deliberate. The company that produces the dog food has changed suppliers for a particular ingredient. The new supplier is in China. The ingredient was contaminated by pesticides used on their wheat crops.
Just shows that you cannot control everything!

This is dreadful. Poisoning is supposedly an agonising way to die. If this is deliberate then heads should roll - literally.

It always amazes me that people can make claims like this. Where the seals this much of a problem before man became really organsied? Bit liek the elephants in Africa, killed because they are taking too much land. The land they used to roam is being eaten up by man... and I guess our demands for fish mean we don't want the competition we face from seals.

A very thought intriguing entry. I agree with you about the written word. There is something so very powerful about being able to express yourself by writing things down...gives the reader the real meaning and depht of what you're saying by reading not just your thoughts, but your feelings. There's so much that can be said here.
